Farosha Andasheva joined the City Attorney’s Office in 2017. Ms. Andasheva prepares various resolutions and ordinances, and handles a multitude of litigation matters which involve issues of federal and Florida constitutional law, public records law, and other statutory and common law causes of action impacting the City of Miami Beach. Additionally, Ms. Andasheva handles the prosecution of code enforcement matters before the Special Masters of the City of Miami Beach to ensure regulatory compliance with those technical statutes, regulations and codes.

Prior to her being hired by the City of Miami Beach, Ms. Andasheva was a law clerk at Weiss, Alden, and Polo, a full-service immigration law firm. During her time in law school, Ms. Andasheva also clerked for immigration judges at the Executive Office for Immigration Review and spent two semesters as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement intern at the Department of Homeland Security.
