Ricardo Dopico acts as the legal advisor for the municipality and all of its officers in all matters relating to their official powers and duties; attends all meetings of the City Commission; and performs such duties as may be required of him by ordinance or resolution of the City Mayor and Commission or City Charter.

The Office of the City Attorney (CAO) is dedicated to providing quality legal services to the Mayor, City Commissioners, City Manager, City departments, and over forty (40) boards and committees, consistent with the goals and objectives of the City Commission.
