Nahum R. Joseph

Nahum Joseph joined the City Attorney’s Office in June 2022 as the City’s Municipal Prosecutor. Mr. Joseph is responsible for the prosecution of criminal violations of the City’s code of ordinances before the County Court in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Prior to joining the City, Mr. Joseph served as an Assistant State Attorney for Broward County, where he was assigned to the misdemeanor trial unit, domestic violence unit and felony trial unit. In the felony trial unit, Mr. Joseph handled cases ranging from aggravated battery, armed robbery, drug trafficking and attempted homicide.

While in law school, he served on the Journal of International & Comparative Law as an Articles Editor and was a member of the NSU Trial Association.
