Summer at the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) continues to bring impactful programming and community‑focused events as families, students, and professionals take advantage of the season. This August, MBCC welcomes the annual Style Saves Back‑to‑School event from August 8–9, providing thousands of Miami-Dade students with free uniforms, backpacks, school supplies, and other essentials that support a confident start to the upcoming school year.

MBCC will also host several key summer conferences and training programs, including the NeighborWorks Training Institute from August 9–14, which brings national practitioners together for community development and capacity‑building sessions. 2 Later in the month, the ADI Craft & Spirits Conference from August 18–19 and the IOScholarships STEAM Summit on August 29 will convene industry experts, students, and innovators for learning, collaboration, and networking.

Together, these summer events highlight MBCC’s ongoing role in supporting education, community programming, and professional development throughout the season—even while the City Commission is in recess and many families enjoy their summer break.
