23 Street Streetscape Improvements

Project Overview:

The City of Miami Beach is completing a streetscape improvement project in the neighborhood to enhance the aesthetics, functionality, and overall experience of its public spaces.

This project includes the installation of two-way buffered bicycle lanes along 23 Street between Dade Boulevard and Park Avenue, on Park Avenue between 23 and 22 Streets, and on 22 Street from Park Avenue to the Beachwalk. Additional improvements include parking modifications, new traffic signal mast arms, pedestrian signals, sidewalk, curb, and gutter replacement, as well as driveway adjustments.

The scope also features a raised intersection at 22 Street and Park Avenue, intersection bulb-outs, drainage enhancements, pavement milling and resurfacing, and updated signage and pavement markings throughout the project area.
