Lincoln Road Light Replacement
Lincoln Road Redevelopment Project
This project will revamp the Lincoln Road pedestrian mall, from Washington Avenue to Lenox Avenue. Work to consist of new lighting, refurbishing pedestrian surfaces, follies and water features, new street furnishings, healthy tree fertilization systems, milling and resurfacing pavement surfaces, and cross walk enhancements. Phase I took place in 2023; we upgraded the streetlights along Lincoln Road between Washington and Lenox Avenues.
In 2026, the active construction zones are part of Lincoln Road Phase II. There are two work areas: on Drexel Avenue and on Meridian Avenue, both major connection streets between the Miami Beach Convention Center, New World Symphony, City Hall and the businesses on Lincoln Road.
While construction is underway, restaurants and retail on Lincoln Road remain open for business to all locals and visitors! Please pardon our dust and adhere to posted pedestrian paths around the work zones. The surface parking lot between Meridian and Jefferson Avenues is also available for use; please access this lot from 17 Street via Jefferson Avenue.
