—A march will take place on Tuesday in South Beach ahead of World Cup match —
Miami Beach, FL – The City of Miami Beach welcomes the spirited and world‑renowned Tartan Army as supporters of the Scotland National Football team take to Ocean Drive for a celebratory march on Tuesday, June 23 at 2 p.m. Known internationally for their camaraderie, music and festive energy, the Tartan Army will assemble at 14 Street and Ocean Drive, and proceed south along the beachfront corridor to 5 Street.
“Miami Beach is thrilled to welcome the Tartan Army to our iconic Ocean Drive,” shared Commissioner Monica Matteo Salinas. “Their energy reflects exactly what makes our city such a vibrant destination — a place where cultures come together to celebrate, connect and create unforgettable moments against our legendary art deco backdrop.”
Residents and visitors are encouraged to enjoy the spectacle and plan accordingly for increased pedestrian activity. City officials and public safety teams will be on site to support a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
“Miami Beach serves as a world stage for visitors from around the globe, and the arrival of the Tartan Army brings a special energy to the iconic stretch of Ocean Drive that highlights how our community sits at the forefront of international culture and celebration,” said Mayor Steven Meiner.
Scotland will take on Brazil in a World Cup 2026 group stage match this Wednesday, June 24 at 6 p.m. ET at the Miami Stadium.
