—Musicians 18 and under are invited to apply —
Miami Beach, FL – The City of Miami Beach and the Rhythm Foundation are inviting young musicians to audition for the 10th Annual Miami Beach Youth Music Festival. The deadline to apply is Dec. 13.
“The Miami Beach Youth Music Festival is not just about music — it’s about inspiring the next generation of leaders and creators,” said Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner. “By giving our young artists a stage, we’re showing them that their talent matters, their voices count, and their dreams can take flight right here in our community.”
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Miami Beach Bandshell, 7275 Collins Ave. To apply, musicians 18 and under, who perform live music, must complete an online form at www.miamibeach.rocks and submit audition links.
The event is open to bands or individuals who perform live music of any genre — rock, jazz, Latin, electronic, folk, classical, funk or the spoken word. At least one member of each band must be a resident of Miami-Dade County with the average age of the group being under 18 at the time of the Youth Music Festival.
“The entire Bandshell team looks forward to producing the Youth Music Festival all year,” added Rhythm Foundation Executive Director Adam Ganuza. “We love being a big part of the local cultural ecosystem for young people, creating a true festival vibe for families, and putting together an event that lets our most talented kids and teens shine.”
Acts that are chosen to perform will receive an honorarium. For more information, send an email to info@rhythmfoundation.com or call 305.672.5202.
