This report goes over the analysis compiled by Blue Zones specific to strengths and challenges to be considered by the City of Miami Beach.
Phase 1 | Past Events
On February 5, 2025 the City of Miami Beach launched Blue Zones Ignite, a 6-month well-being initiative bringing together civic and community leaders to initiate well-being enhancements— setting up residents to live long, healthy, happy lives.
Blue Zones 2.5.25 Ignite Miami Beach Keynote:
Event held at the New World Center Truist Pavilion to introduce the Blue Zones story and members from their expert team to kick off work in our community to improve well-being. The team called on community leaders and residents to learn more about our city and collaborate to build a plan for change.
Blue Zones 6.23.2025 Community Readout:
Event held at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden to relay the results of our Blue Zones Ignite Assessment. This in-depth readiness and feasibility assessment is the first step to making Miami Beach a Blue Zones designated city.
