Powers & Duties

The OIG may require City officials or employees to provide reports concerning any inquiry it conducts, and may issue subpoenas to witnesses to provide sworn testimony or for the production of records or other evidence.

The OIG is specially charged with the oversight of City contracts, including any contract or expenditure associated with the City’s General Obligation Bond Program.
