Miami Beach, FL – The Miami Beach Firefighters Benevolent Association will host its annual toy drive distribution at Fire Station 1 on Sunday, Dec. 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This year marks the first time the drive is being held in partnership with the Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department.

The toy drive benefits preselected families of children who attend Miami Beach South Pointe Elementary School, Miami Beach Fienberg-Fisher K-8 Center and Biscayne Beach Elementary School. Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Dec. 19 at the following locations:

  • Fire Station 1, 1051 Jefferson Ave.
  • Fire Station 2, 2300 Pine Tree Drive
  • Fire Station 3, 5303 Collins Ave.
  • Fire Station 4, 6880 Indian Creek Drive
  • Flamingo Park, 11 Street and Jefferson Avenue
  • Muss Park, 4300 Chase Ave.
  • North Shore Park, 501 72 St.
  • Scott Rakow Youth Center, 2700 Sheridan Ave.

Santa will make a special appearance at the Dec. 21 toy distribution event with special assistance provided by Miami Beach firefighters.

“The toy drive is a tradition our department looks forward to every year, and collaborating with Parks and Recreation has allowed us to extend that tradition,” said Miami Beach Fire Chief Digna Abello. “Together, we can bring holiday cheer to local families in need this season.”
