— Celebrate the Jewish Festival of Lights with the City of Miami Beach —

Miami Beach, FL – Join the City of Miami Beach on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the Jewish festival of Hanukkah with a menorah lighting outside City Hall at 1700 Convention Center Drive.

“Chanukah teaches the world that light endures even in darkness. Miami Beach is a haven for the Jewish people, where our community gathers in joy and strength, protected and united,” said Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner. “Together with Jewish communities worldwide, we support the State of Israel, stand against antisemitism, ensuring our menorah shines as a beacon of hope and solidarity.”

The Jewish Festival of Lights is an eight-day commemoration of the rededication of the Temple by the Maccabees after their victory over the Syrians. This year’s celebration began on Sunday, Dec. 14 and will continue through Monday, Dec. 14.
