As a globally recognized brand, Miami Beach continues to outperform other cities in the region as a top destination for both domestic and international visitors. The City is grateful to the businesses who choose to invest here and contribute to the community’s economic vitality.
“The City is at the forefront of supporting our business community,” states Steven Anthony, the Director of Economic Development Department, “We are proactively taking measures to enhance quality of life, promote public safety, and ensure that the needs of our business community are valued and addressed.”
During recent visits, business owners and managers shared positive experiences about opening and operating in Miami Beach. Dr. Brooke Owens from Royal Vet Miami Beach expressed appreciation for the City’s responsiveness, explaining that the permitting process for their rebuild was completed in an expedited and efficient manner, allowing them to move forward without unnecessary delays.
New operators are equally enthusiastic about the City’s vibrant market. Arianne Rodriguez, the manager of Taco Bell Cantina, shared excitement about joining the Miami Beach business community, noting that business has been strong, particularly for late-night guests seeking convenient dining options.
Miami Beach also continues to attract innovative and internationally recognized brands. Harrison Blume from Myka Greek Frozen Yogurt proudly shared that the company selected Miami Beach for its first U.S. flagship location, highlighting the City as the perfect home for their artisanal Greek offerings made with goat’s kefir and pasteurized milk. From baklava-inspired flavors to handmade crumbles and seasonal sorbets, the Madrid-born concept is already generating excitement among locals and visitors alike.
Foot traffic and visibility remain key factors driving business success. Lawrence Longo of Prince Street Pizza explained that when considering a South Beach location, the team was immediately drawn to the energy of Lincoln Road. After observing the steady flow of pedestrians, even on a Monday morning, the decision was clear. The area’s consistent mix of residents and visitors provides the ideal environment for a business that thrives on high foot traffic.
Expansion within Miami Beach is another strong indicator of business confidence. Fabio Zama, partner and owner of Cotoletta in South of Fifth, shared his enthusiasm about opening the restaurant’s second location in Miami Beach and noted that the team is already exploring opportunities to expand further in the surrounding area.
