Miami Beach, FL – In partnership with the City of Miami Beach, hospitality and concession management company Boucher Brothers is offering an exclusive 35% resident discount on beach accessory rentals as part of its contract with the city. Discounted rentals are now available at 7 Street and Lummus Park along with the 21 Street beach locations. Resident discounts at the remaining Boucher Brother concessions in Miami Beach are expected to be rolled out within three months.

To obtain the discount, Miami Beach residents must register in advance and show proof of residence. The discount applies to queen-size daybeds, lounge chairs, sand chairs, cabanas and umbrellas at participating Boucher Brothers locations in the city. The year-round program will be expanded to all Miami Beach public beaches where Boucher Brothers run concessions in the future.

“We’re fortunate to live in one of the world’s most beautiful destinations—but too often, our residents don’t enjoy the same amenities that tourists do,” shared Miami Beach Commissioner Tanya K. Bhatt, who championed the resident discount initiative. “This program is about offering a public benefit. It’s a way to say: ‘you live here and deserve to enjoy the beach experience alongside our visitors.’”

Each Miami Beach household may receive up to two nontransferable memberships that will be valid for one year from the date of approval. Residents will receive a digital pass with a QR code that can be placed in their iOS or Android digital wallets or obtained via email in a printable format. Residents must present the QR code for verification at check-in.

To enroll, residents will need a

  • A valid State of Florida photo ID showing a Miami Beach address, and
  • One additional proof of residence dated within the previous 30-day period (utility bill, vehicle insurance statement or mobile phone bill).

Each household may register up to two people. For more information or to register, visit bouchermembership.com.

“Miami Beach is all about community,” said Boucher Brothers’ Vice President Steven Boucher. “We’re thrilled to offer this program that makes beach days even more accessible for residents who call this vibrant city home.”
