Patty Suau
Unexpected Encounters
Patty Suau is a Cuban American artist born and raised in Miami, Florida. Her practice explores self-love, connection, intimacy and emotional intelligence through drawing, installation, sculpture and textiles. She is also the creator of TinyFcknPix, an elaborate series of miniature erotic drawings.
Suau studied at New World School of the Arts and Maryland Institute College of Art. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida International University in 2010.
Selected solo exhibitions include Love Me/ Touch Me (2020) at Bay Parc in Midtown Miami, Florida, and Tiny Fckn Pix (2018) at Bodhi Wellness Center in Coral Gables, Florida. Selected group exhibitions include Within Interdependence at YoungArts, Miami, Florida (2018), National YoungArts Foundation at PULSE, Miami Beach (2018), and Signature, AQUA, Miami Beach (2016).
