Pump Station #28 Force Main Rehabilitation

• Installation of approximately 1,070 linear feet of 30-inch discharge force main from PS #28 south along Pine Tree Drive, terminating in the Scott Rakow Youth Center parking lot.
• Installation of two bypass pumping systems.
• Rehabilitation of the influent structure for PS #28.
• Replacement of the odor control system.
• Rehabilitation and hardening of the PS #28 pumping unit structure.
• Demolition and removal of pumps, piping, and electrical equipment.
• Construction of a new electrical and generator building.
• Restoration of all work areas to pre-construction conditions or better.

Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2025 and is expected to be completed in approximately two (2) years, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Work will be performed Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The contractor will utilize several on-street parking spaces adjacent to the construction site. Please heed all signage to avoid enforcement.

Public access to the pump station will be restricted for the duration of the project. The construction zone will be enclosed by fencing, which may affect adjacent sidewalks. Pedestrian and traffic detours will be implemented as needed for safety.
