Pump Station #28 Force Main Rehabilitation
Project Overview:
The City of Miami Beach is upgrading Pump Station #28 at 300 W 28 Street to improve wastewater infrastructure in Mid-Beach. The project includes installing 1,070 feet of 30-inch force main along Pine Tree Drive, adding two bypass pumping systems, rehabilitating the influent and pumping unit structures, replacing the odor control system, demolishing and replacing pumps, piping, and electrical equipment, and constructing a new electrical and generator building. These improvements aim to enhance system reliability and support the community’s long-term wastewater needs.
