Entry: Kayak entry is into Indian Creek
The kayak launch area is provided for users to launch their own kayaks into Indian Creek. Kayaks must be bought into the launch area by foot or mobile cart. No parking or drive up launching on site. Usage of the launch area is free. Rental equipment is not provided.Special Features: Leisure areas, asphalt walking path, kayak launch, small and large dog areas with dog play features and a community garden.

Palm Island Booking Rules
As part of a new pilot program through the Parks and Recreation Department and the Miami Beach Tennis Academy, Miami Beach residents can now book courts online at the Palm Island Tennis Courts effective June 1, 2024.
Utilizing the Court Reserve app, residents will be able to reserve courts 1 day in advance (for a minimal administrative fee) via the system, as well as book classes and private lessons that will be offered by registered tennis professionals.
- Reservations can be made online 1 day prior (starting at
7:30AM) - Validated residents pay $3 per person/per hour
- Non-residents and guests pay $17 per person/per hour
- Only 1 reservation per day per player
- Players on court via back to back online bookings with same or different players may be asked to leave regardless of payment
- Unbooked times can be used without charge; however, if you are on the court and a reservation arrives, you must vacate the court
- Instruction by (or hitting with) unauthorized pros, regardless of the number of balls being used, is strictly prohibited

Our software platform is called Court Reserve. This system will allow you to book courts and lessons online, view your transaction history, receive event reminders and receipts, integrate with your personal calendar, and more.

- Select Non Residential membership (even if you are a resident).
- If you are a Miami Beach resident please test a copy of your ID and 1 additional. document such as a lease or utility bill to 305.604.4080.

- Credits are returned to Court Reserve account.
- 5% surcharge to return fees to credit card.

The after school and summer camp programs offered at the North Shore Park & Youth Center for children in grades K – 5 fill up quickly. Children and teens can participate in a wide variety of activities such as sports, homework help, special events and much more. North Shore Park & Youth Center is proud to offer programs for the young and young at heart. Adults and seniors are invited to participate in a variety of programs that include: zumba, yoga, fine arts and painting and more.
