Justin Alexander joined the City Attorney's Office in 2025. Mr. Alexander's areas of practice primarily include land use and zoning, real property, ethics, and legislation.

Prior to joining the City of Miami Beach, Mr. Alexander served as a law clerk for the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes, where he drafted regulations and conducted legal research on condominium and community association issues. Mr. Alexander also previously clerked for Heise Suarez Melville, P.A., in Coral Gables, Florida.

While in law school, Mr. Alexander was an Articles & Comments Editor of the Race and Social Justice Law Review and a Member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. Additionally, Mr. Alexander worked as an intern and fellow of the Environmental Justice Clinic.
