Log Cabin

The City has plans to build a new 1,400 square foot, one-story log cabin located within North Beach Oceanside Park. The project is designed as an upgrade to the original log cabin that was dismantled in 2017, serving as a community and information center. The new structure will incorporate the original cabin’s stone fireplace and chimney, and the original salvaged wood will be used for aesthetic and architectural details throughout. This new space will include a wraparound terrace and patio, historical photos of the original structure, seating area for guests, counter space, vending machine area, storage room and a janitor’s closet.
