Special Event Transportation Enhancements on June 11, July 18 & 19

The City of Miami Beach is introducing free special event water taxi and shuttle services on the three upcoming game days expected to draw significant crowds to help mitigate traffic across the city.

The free weekday Miami Beach Water Taxi will be enhanced as follows:

  • Thursday, June 11 | 12 PM - 11 PM

    An enhanced water taxi service will operate between the Venetian Marina (City of Miami) and Maurice Gibb Memorial Park (Miami Beach), supplemented by a free shuttle service to and from Lummus Park near 10 Street. This service is in addition to the city’s regular weekday free water taxi, which begins at 7 a.m. and will be extended until 11 p.m. on this date.

  • Saturday, July 18 & Sunday, July 19 | 10 AM - 11 PM

    A free water taxi service will run between the Venetian Marina and Maurice Gibb Memorial Park, with a free shuttle service connecting to and from the Miami Beach Bandshell (near 72 Street and Collins Avenue). The city will also increase Miami Beach Trolley frequency by adding vehicles to key loops to support anticipated high demand.

The citywide trolley service currently operates 15 hours a day, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., 7 days a week at approximately 20-minute average service frequency along each route.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to continue using the year‑round free Miami Beach Trolley and Freebee services. Real‑time trolley tracking is available through the Miami Beach Gov app. Miami Beach also offers miles of Beachwalk and green bike lanes, along with extensive bicycle parking citywide. View the city’s bicycle parking maps for more information. For added convenience, Citi Bike provides more than a thousand traditional and electric‑assist bicycles at stations throughout the city. Please note: e‑bikes and e‑scooters are not allowed on the Beachwalk or shared‑use paths.

The City of Miami Beach will outline its World Cup 2026 public safety and security plans during a press conference at the Miami Beach sign on Ocean Drive and 5 Street.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the City of Miami Beach will implement enhanced public safety staffing, crowd management protocols and traffic plans. CERT volunteers will be available for any first aid needs at 10 Street and Ocean Drive on June 5-7 and June 11. They will also be on site at the Sand Bowl on July 18 and 19.

Sanitation
In preparation of increased activity, the city's Sanitation Division is performing enhanced pressure washing operations and litter can maintenance citywide. Cleanup crews are scheduled seven days a week, from very early morning hours to late at night, to avoid heavy periods of traffic and pedestrian activities. In addition to the weekly pressure washing schedule already in place, Sanitation is also deep cleaning high-traffic areas in North Beach, Mid Beach and South Beach.

The City of Miami Beach is introducing free special event water taxi and shuttle services on the three upcoming game days expected to draw significant crowds to help mitigate traffic across the city.

The free weekday Miami Beach Water Taxi will be enhanced as follows:

  • Thursday, June 11 | 12 PM - 11 PM

    An enhanced water taxi service will operate between the Venetian Marina (City of Miami) and Maurice Gibb Memorial Park (Miami Beach), supplemented by a free shuttle service to and from Lummus Park near 10 Street. This service is in addition to the city’s regular weekday free water taxi, which begins at 7 a.m. and will be extended until 11 p.m. on this date.

  • Saturday, July 18 & Sunday, July 19 | 10 AM - 11 PM

    A free water taxi service will run between the Venetian Marina and Maurice Gibb Memorial Park, with a free shuttle service connecting to and from the Miami Beach Bandshell (near 72 Street and Collins Avenue). The city will also increase Miami Beach Trolley frequency by adding vehicles to key loops to support anticipated high demand.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the City of Miami Beach will implement enhanced public safety staffing, crowd management protocols and traffic plans. CERT volunteers will be available for any first aid needs at 10 Street and Ocean Drive on June 5-7 and June 11. They will also be on site at the Sand Bowl on July 18 and 19.

Sanitation
In preparation of increased activity, the city's Sanitation Division is performing enhanced pressure washing operations and litter can maintenance citywide. Cleanup crews are scheduled seven days a week, from very early morning hours to late at night, to avoid heavy periods of traffic and pedestrian activities. In addition to the weekly pressure washing schedule already in place, Sanitation is also deep cleaning high-traffic areas in North Beach, Mid Beach and South Beach.
