Miami Beach Parent-Child Program, funded entirely by The Children’s Trust, serves families in Miami Beach with children aged birth through 16, including expecting families. Our program offers evidence-based Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP) and Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) classes designed to foster family interaction and growth for parents/caregivers and children.

The program operates through two modalities, catering to the needs of families with children aged 0-12 and adolescents aged 13-16. Group sessions are conducted weekly during the fall and spring, spanning eight class sessions. Each session begins with a complimentary family meal, and childcare is provided at no cost. Collaborating with the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation and Miami-Dade County Public Schools, sessions are hosted at North Shore Youth Center and Fienberg Fisher K-8.

A home-based option is available year-round for expecting families and families with children from birth to 5 years old. These sessions occur once a week for 24 weeks and 18 weeks for the Prenatal program. A skilled facilitator conducts these sessions in the comfort of your home.

The NPP and Triple P curriculums cover a range of topics tailored to children's developmental stages. They incorporate hands-on activities, parent handbooks, and dedicated family time. These curriculums aim to cultivate empathy, strengthen familial bonds, enhance communication skills, bolster parental understanding of child development, and empower parents.
