The City of Miami Beach has plenty of options to practice your serve. Play at one of our two tennis centers where you can take advantage of year-round clinics, youth programs, and private lessons, or check out our neighborhood parks where you can play for free.


Adult Clinics (Year-Round Programs)
Registration for all clinics can be made at register.miamibeachparks.com and are available one week in advance. Payments must be made at time of booking. No drop-ins are allowed.
This clinic is designed for intermediate players who know the tennis basics and can rally the ball consistently. 3.0 and above players allowed.
Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
$25.00 / clinic (minimum 4 participants to have class).
Adult-only Advanced Adult Clinic for 4.0 and above. Instructors will determine the level. This clinic has limited availability due to a smaller number of participants on the courts.
Monday & Wednesday Nights – 7 PM – 8 PM
$25.00 / clinic (minimum 4 participants to have class).
This clinic is designed for intermediate players who know the tennis basics and can rally the ball consistently. 3.0 and above players allowed.

$25.00 / clinic (minimum 4 participants to have class).
Competitive round robin for 4.0 and above players. A great opportunity to meet strong players. 5 rounds of 11-point tiebreakers and then the players with the highest accumulated scores advance into the quarter-final bracket until a winner is declared. The winner has bragging rights and a coupon for free play at the next Match Tuff Event.

Youth Programs
Jr. Beginner – Monthly

This introductory program offers a training process that includes learning basic strokes and developing footwork, and hand-eye coordination. Participants must commit to classes to avoid overlaps.
Jr. Performance – Monthly Program
Monday – Thursday 5 PM – 6 PM
Age: 8 & up
Fee: $33 / class (price will vary based on attendance)
For young players have been playing at a recreational level and are ready to take the next step to learn how to compete at the tournament level. Participants must commit to classes to avoid overlaps.
High Performance – Monthly Program
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 5 PM – 7 PM
Age: 8 & up
Fee: $70 / class (price will vary based on attendance)
The High-Performance program is for junior players who are committed to an elite performance-based training program. This program is designed for players striving to become world-class junior players that compete in tournaments. Participants must commit to classes to avoid overlaps.
Tennis Summer Camp
Ages 3.5 and up
June 19 – August 4, 2023
All camps are for beginners – intermediate leveled players. Participants will learn basic strokes, rules, coordination, sportsmanship, and more.
Time: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Weekly Fee: Residents: $350 / Non-Resident: $400

Adult Tennis Clinics
(Year-Round Programs)
Registration for all clinics can be made at www.mbtennisacademy.com/adultclasses Pricing will range from $25-$35 per person depending on class size and peak hours.
This one-hour class is designed for brand-new players and those who have not played for a while. Instructions include proper grips and footwork for forehands, backhands, serves, and volleys. Classes are offered 4 times per week.
Register for intermediate clinics
This drill-based class is appropriate for those players who have progressed above beginner. Emphasis is placed on improved footwork, ball control, increased power, and spin. This one-hour class is offered every day.
This clinic is open to players at an advanced level who rated 4.0 and above. This clinic focuses on competitive point play and hitting.

Youth Tennis Programs
This one-hour class is designed to introduce tennis as a fun sport to children aged 5-7. Students learn forehands, backhands, and volleys as well as scoring and parts of the court. Quickstart format is used that enables students to learn more control of the ball through the use of low-compression red and orange tennis balls and smaller nets.

This one-hour class is for those who have graduated from recreational tennis and have more stroke control. It is designed to focus on the technique of each of the strokes, as well as learning to sustain a rally from the baseline. 2 days per week is mandatory in order for juniors to get a good level of repetition needed for improvement.
Registration for this level is only available for those approved by the head coach.
The Pre-Academy is for the more serious student, as well as the more advanced. Classes are one and a half hours and include skills, drills, and match play. Students must be able to serve and rally consistently. All participants must attend 2 days per week.

The academy is for the serious junior who competes at a local, sectional, and national level. Players practice for two hours, three times a week and compete in tournaments at least twice a month. Courts are limited to four players per court in order to maintain a high quality of instruction.

Private Lessons
Our private lesson prices range from $85 to $100 for the hour. Court fees are included in the lesson fee and the fee includes up to one additional person.
