North Shore Park is home to the Manny LaFont baseball fields. Manny LaFont, a father and North Shore Park baseball coach, passed away during the Surfside Champlain Tower collapse on June 24, 2021. North Shore Park was his second home, which is where he coached his son's baseball team and shared his passion. He was known to have deeply cared about the development for all the athletes that he coached across the field.

⚾ Youth Baseball Program – Sign-Ups June 1st!
We’re excited to welcome your child to our upcoming Fall baseball season at North Shore Park, located at 501 72nd St., Miami Beach. Please review the details below for your child’s age group:
🧢 Introduction to Baseball (Ages 3–4)
A fun and engaging way to introduce your little one to the game!
Tuesday Classes: 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.
Thursday Class: 4:00 p.m.
What to bring: A cap and a 9-inch leather glove. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Children should wear shorts and sneakers.
🐣 Pee Wees (Ages 5–6)
No evaluations required. Teams will be formed the week of August 25.
You’ll be contacted by your child’s coach with practice details.
Games: Sundays at 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Practice: One weekday, determined by the coach and parents.
🧢 Rookies (Ages 7–8)
Evaluations: TBA - Contact Danny Berry
Games: Sundays at 10:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
Practice: One weekday, set by the coach and parents.
Bring: Cap, glove, batting helmet, and bat (we’ll have extras if needed).
⚾ Minors (Ages 9–10)
Evaluations: TBA - Contact Danny Berry
Games: Sundays at 12:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Practice: One weekday, set by the coach and parents.
