When is the next Certification Session?
This meeting is held the SECOND WEDNESDAY of every month at 10:00 AM in-person at the Tourism & Culture Department, 1755 Meridian Ave., 5th Floor, Miami Beach FL 33139.
Please arrive to the office on time. Artists will be reviewed on a first-come-first-serve basis, and artists arriving after 11 AM will not be reviewed.What do I need to bring to the Certification Session?
Please complete the “Application for Certificate Street Artisan or Craftsperson” file from Customer Service and bring it to your session. Also, please ensure that you bring examples of completed works, works in progress, and materials to physically show your artisanal process.
Photo examples of your set up, studio, workplace, receipts of material, etc. are encouraged as well to get a better idea of your artisanal process. Without these materials it is possible that you will be asked to return the following month for proper review.What is the “Lottery” and where do I apply?
The Lottery is an opportunity to enter a drawing and “win” one of the top 48 locations to display your art/craft on Miami Beach. Licensed Artisans may apply for the Lottery at the Customer Service Center (1755 Meridian Ave, 1st Floor). Drawings for the Lottery take place every 3 months, and detailed calendar of drawings are available with Customer Service.
