1. Where can I book a court?
Miami Beach residents can reserve courts at:

2. What types of play are available?

Private Lessons: With vetted and authorized instructors.
Open Recreation Play: Casual, non-instructional use.
Programs: Group instruction for kids and adults, and competitive match play.

3. Who can give private lessons?

Only instructors who:

Are vetted and employed through FPTC (Palm Island & Polo) or MBTC (Bayshore, Fairway & Normandy).
Hold a valid Business Tax Receipt (BTR).
Are certified by the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).
Have passed background screening and drug testing.

4. Can I just show up and play?

Yes, on a first-come, first-served basis if:

No court bookings or private lessons are scheduled.
Select courts (e.g., Normandy, Bayshore, Polo) are always free and not bookable online. Usage logs are maintained to ensure fair play and accommodate Sabbath-observant residents.

5. What are the peak hours?

Daily: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

6. What are the fees?

Private Lessons: Starting at $85–$100, depending on location and instructor.
Court Bookings:
- Bayshore, Normandy & Fairway Park: $3 (residents), $10 (non-residents)
- Other locations: $3 (residents), $10 (non-residents)

7. Who manages the courts?

Palm Island & Polo Park: Managed by Flamingo Park Tennis Center (FPTC)
Fairway, Normandy Shores & Bayshore Park: Managed by Miami Beach Tennis Center (MBTC)
Staff and Park Rangers are on-site for support and enforcement.

Private Lessons:

Our private lesson prices range from $85 to $120 for the hour. Court fees are included in the lesson fee and the fee includes up to one additional person. A private lesson with three or more people costs an additional $20 per person. Lessons can be booked by phone, text, our Court Reserve app under the "PRIVATE LESSONS" tab, or Register Online >

Corporate Tennis Events:

All special events including photoshoots, filming, fundraisers, corporate team building, etc can be accommodated. Pricing is available upon request. Email info@mbtennisacademy.com or text (305) 604- 4080 for more information.

How To Book a Court

Select ‘BOOK A COURT’,
‘NORMANDY/FAIRWAY’ and select an available time slot to add additional players
Singles can be booked for 1 hour (2 players),
doubles can be booked for 2 hours (4 players)

To add guest name, click on GUEST #1
You must add appropriate number of players (2 for singles or 4 for doubles) or reservation will not save
You must pay for the court within 15 minutes or the reservation will not save
You must cancel bookings via text to by 5PM to 305.604.4080 the evening prior or full charges apply
Credits are returned to Court Reserve account and can be used at any MBTA facility
5% surcharge to return fees to credit card

RESERVATIONS can be made online 1 day prior (starting at 7:30AM)
Validated residents pay $3 per person/per hour
Non residents and guests pay $10 per person/per hour
COURT 3 is free and not bookable online. Players must sign in at the tennis office and are limited to 1 hour of play if there are others waiting
ONLY 1 reservation per day per player
INSTRUCTIONS BY (OR HITTING WITH) UNAUTHORIZED PROS, regardless of the number of balls being used, is strictly prohibited
AFTER A 10 MINUTE GRACE PERIOD court reservation is forfeited, regardless of payment
