On-Demand Transit Service for Collins Avenue Traffic Mitigation

The City of Miami Beach and Freebee have teamed up to offer a pilot program to Miami Beach residents and visitors to address mobility and parking challenges on Collins Avenue during the Indian Creek Drive Flood Mitigation project.

City officials are launching an on-demand free service to travel along Collins Avenue between 23 to 44 streets. Both the origin and destination must be within those boundaries. The new service will be available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. starting on Monday, June 28, and will operate at least through September 30.

Residents and visitors can request a ride in real time through the Freebee app, by calling 855.918.3733 or by hailing the driver. All passengers must wear masks. Up to four passengers are allowed per trip. High-touch surface areas will be sanitized after each trip. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
